Premier League newcomers Hull City are reportedly weighing up a summer move for Super Eagles forward Femi Azeez as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the 26/27 campaign, Footynaija.com reports.
Azeez enjoyed a breakthrough campaign with Championship side Millwall last season, playing a key role in the Lions’ push for promotion before their hopes were dashed in the play-off semi-finals by Hull.
According to Football League World, the Tigers have now turned their attention to the Nigerian winger after securing promotion to the Premier League, with club owner Acun Ilicali keen to bolster the squad before the new season gets underway.

The report adds that Hull’s interest is still in its early stages, although the newly-promoted side are expected to remain active in the transfer market over the coming weeks.
Azeez established himself as one of the Championship’s standout attacking players last term, registering 11 goals and seven assists in 37 appearances to help Millwall mount a serious promotion challenge.
His impressive form did not go unnoticed, with Premier League side Ipswich Town reportedly seeing a £20 million bid rejected for the 25-year-old shortly after securing promotion.
Millwall are now believed to value the exciting winger at around £30 million, placing themselves in a strong negotiating position with the Nigerian still having two years remaining on his contract.
While there is no indication that Azeez is pushing for a move away from The Den, the opportunity to test himself in the Premier League could prove difficult to ignore if Hull formalise their interest.
For now, Millwall remain determined to keep hold of one of their prized assets as they prepare for another push for promotion, but Hull’s interest makes Azeez’s future one to watch before the transfer window closes.
