Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has been hailed by Turkish football expert Emre Bol, who believes the Galatasaray forward is operating at a level above the Turkish Süper Lig following his impressive goalscoring exploits, Footynaija.com reports.
The Nigerian has continued to make his mark in Turkey since joining Galatasaray, establishing himself as one of the club’s most influential players through his goals and performances in major fixtures.
Speaking about the 27-year-old, Bol insisted that Osimhen’s impact goes beyond his goals, highlighting the forward’s ability to influence matches consistently across domestic and European competitions.

“Osimhen is too good for this league. He’s one of those guys who finishes the competition,” Bol said, as quoted by Habersarikirmizi.
“I don’t remember another guy in years who, when he’s on the field, has such a 100% impact on the game. He’s a guy who leaves his mark on the game and has a 100% impact.
“Osimhen is like this in every match. Champions League, Super League… He plays brilliantly in every game. He’s like those kids in the neighbourhood who play football from morning till night. The guy loves playing football. He’s a very different player. You can’t find a player like him.”
Osimhen continues to deliver for Galatasaray

The praise comes after another decisive display from the striker, who scored twice in Galatasaray’s 2-1 victory over bitter rivals Fenerbahce in the Intercontinental Derby on October 26 as Galatasaray returned to the top of the Super Lig standings.
The forward enjoyed a prolific debut campaign in Turkey, scoring 37 goals across all competitions in 2024/25 and helping Galatasaray win the league and Turkish Cup double. He also claimed the Super Lig Golden Boot with 26 league goals.
Despite a brief spell on the sidelines with a groin injury earlier this season, Osimhen has managed to maintain his scoring form, racking up ten goal contributions (7G, 3A) across all competitions so far.
With his latest derby performance adding to an already impressive record, the Nigerian striker will be keen to stay fit, maintain his momentum and help Galatasaray sustain their title challenge for a fifth successive Super Lig crown.
