Trabzonspor vice-president Zeyyat Kafkas has confirmed that Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu is attracting fresh transfer interest this summer, Footynaija.com reports.
The Nigerian international has emerged as one of the most sought-after forwards in the region after enjoying a sensational 2025/26 campaign.
Onuachu scored 26 goals and provided five assists in 36 appearances across all competitions, finishing as the Super Lig’s joint-top scorer with 22 league goals while helping Trabzonspor lift the Turkish Cup. His prolific form has reportedly attracted interest from Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Ahli, while clubs in Turkey are also monitoring his situation.
Speaking during a press conference organized by Trabzonspor, Kafkas revealed that the club have already received three offers for the 32-year-old striker but stressed that they have no intention of weakening the core of their squad.

“There are offers for Onuachu. We received two offers from Türkiye and one from Saudi Arabia,” he said, per Ege de SonSoz.
“Onuachu is part of our core squad, and we don’t want to disrupt it unless the offer is a very large sum.
“But as I said, if a very good offer comes in, and we consider all the parameters and decide we should let him go, then we might. Actually, we don’t have any players who are unsellable.
“We have a certain playing style from last year, and we don’t want to stray too far from that core.”

Trabzonspor’s stance comes despite persistent interest from Al-Ahli, who reportedly had an €11 million bid rejected and remain keen on making the Nigerian their marquee attacking signing.
With Onuachu under contract until 2028 and the Turkish club valuing him at around €16-17 million, Kafkas’ comments suggest the Black Sea Storm are determined to retain their talisman unless an offer arrives that is simply too good to refuse.
