Brighton & Hove Albion are preparing to make an improved offer for the signature of Super Eagles winger Femi Azeez after Millwall’s rejection of their two previous attempts to poach the forward, Footynaija.com reports.
The Seagulls remain determined to take Azeez to the Amex Stadium before the summer transfer window closes, despite seeing their latest proposal worth just over £10 million turned down by the Championship outfit.
According to The Athletic, Brighton are now preparing a third and improved offer as they look to bridge the gap with Millwall and complete a deal for the 25-year-old.

Azeez has reportedly made Brighton his preferred destination as he looks to secure a move into the Premier League. The Nigerian’s desire for the switch comes after a breakthrough campaign with Millwall, where he established himself as one of the Championship’s standout attacking players.
Azeez scored 11 goals and provided seven assists in 37 appearances during the 225/26 campaign, earning a place in the PFA Championship Team of the Season. His performances also earned him a senior Nigeria call-up, with the winger making his Super Eagles debut during the Unity Cup in England.
Millwall, however, have so far shown little willingness to part with one of their key players and have rejected both of Brighton’s proposals. With the transfer deadline approaching, the Seagulls must now decide how far they are willing to go to satisfy Millwall’s demands.
For Azeez, a successful move would represent the next major step in a rapid rise that has taken him from being a Championship star to a Nigeria international and depending on whether Brighton can make the deal happen, a potential Premier League player.
