Former Lyon winger Florent Malouda believes Victor Osimhen is finally ready to play in the Premier League after successful spells in Germany, Belgium, France, Italy and Turkey, Footynaija reports.

Malouda said Liverpool and Chelsea would suit the Nigeria striker better than Manchester United if he leaves Galatasaray this summer.

Osimhen has enjoyed another impressive campaign in Turkey, scoring 20 goals and providing eight assists in all competitions. That tally includes seven goals in the UEFA Champions League as Galatasaray reached the knockout stage for the first time in over a decade.

By the way.. with PSG vs Arsenal confirmed as the Finalists of this Champions League.

Victor Osimhen became the player to win Most MOTMs (4) awards.. in the 2025|2026 champions league season.

Speaking to Snabbare via Football.London, Malouda praised the Super Eagles striker’s mentality and fighting spirit.

“Victor Osimhen can perform in the Premier League,” he said. “When you look at his mindset, his character, and his passion for the game, I think he belongs in the Premier League.

“But I think that’s what’s missing in his career now. He’s done great in Italy, in France, and now in Turkey.”

Malouda added that Chelsea and Liverpool would provide a stronger environment for the Super Eagles forward.

“I think his next step is the Premier League and the Champions League, where he can play in a team that can win it.

“I would say Chelsea, and maybe Liverpool, are the clubs that would suit him way better than Manchester United.
“He is very energetic, he’s a leader, he is the kind of player that the fans would love.”

Osimhen has often described the Premier League as his dream destination, with former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba remaining one of his biggest inspirations.
