Ibrahim is a regular for Arsenal’s U21 side this season, competing in Premier League 2, the EFL Trophy, and the UEFA Youth League. He has also taken part in first-team training sessions.

Over the years, his performances have drawn comparisons to Nigeria’s former midfield Mikel Obi, a reference fans and media have used to mark his composure and presence in central areas.

What Ife Ibrahim Said

After signing, Ibrahim described the professional deal as a blessing and reflected on his path through the academy.

“I think it’s a blessing, you know, a great opportunity. Not many people get to sign a professional contract, so I’m very grateful and blessed to be here,” he said, as revealed by Arsenal Official.

“I always say it’s a privilege. Arsenal’s a very big club, so I’m very blessed to be here and continue my journey and make it,” he added.

Ibrahim praised the club’s environment and the support he has received from coaches and senior players. Declan Rice, in particular, has helped him in the step up toward first-team involvement.

“[Declan Rice] gives me tips and always tells me great stuff, so I think I look up to him most in the first team. He’s just great, he’s a great guy and has helped me integrate into the squad,” Ibrahim explained.
