Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze is reportedly on the radar of Serie A clubs Bologna and Fiorentina amid the growing uncertainty surrounding his future at AC Milan, Footynaija.com understands.
Chukwueze spent the entirety of last season away from the San Siro after joining Premier League side Fulham on a season-long loan. At Craven Cottage, the Nigeria international impressed for the most part despite not playing as regularly as he would’ve liked.
Fulham had the option of signing Chukwueze on a permanent basis following the expiration of his loan spell but the West London outfit ultimately opted against exercising that particular option when the time came, resulting in his return to Milan this summer.

While Chukwueze did quite alright during his loan spell at Fulham, it is understood that AC Milan are inclined to offloading the winger this summer especially following the recent appointment of Ruben Amorim as head coach.
With his future at the San Siro hanging in the balance, Milan Live reports that AC Milan’s domestic rivals Bologna and Fiorentina are willing to offer the former Villarreal star an escape route ahead of the coming season.
Both teams are looking to significantly bolster their attacking options for next season after struggling in the Italian top flight last term and they view the Super Eagles star as an ideal candidate given his wealth of experience from playing across three of Europe’s top five leagues.

Chukwueze, with two years left on his Milan contract, is reportedly open to staying with the Rossoneri and fighting for his place under Amorim’s reign. However, the allure of playing for another top team in Serie A or elsewhere across Europe could eventually be strong enough to make the Nigerian consider a future elsewhere.
