Tottenham Hotspur are looking at other attacking options as speculation about a possible move for Victor Osimhen continues, Footynaija reports.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says he has no confirmation that Tottenham are pursuing the Nigerian striker. He instead named Omar Marmoush and Nicolas Jackson as two forwards being considered by the Premier League club.
“Centre striker Omar Marmoush and Nicolas Jackson are options,” Romano said.
“I don’t have any confirmation regarding the name of Victor Osimhen, which has been going around in recent days and weeks. This is the situation regarding Tottenham Hotspur.”
Tottenham are understood to be looking for more attacking strength before the summer transfer window closes.
Osimhen, just named among the world’s best, has attracted fresh attention after another strong start to the season with Galatasaray. The Nigeria international scored twice in the club’s opening match against Çorum to help them avoid defeat.
The 27-year-old joined Galatasaray from Napoli and played a key role as the Turkish club won the Super Lig title in each of the last two seasons.
His goals have also kept him linked with major European clubs. Tottenham have been mentioned as one possible destination, but Romano’s comments suggest there is no clear evidence of talks between Spurs and Osimhen at this stage.
Marmoush and Jackson could therefore offer Tottenham alternative routes as they look to strengthen their attack.
Marmoush has become a key attacking player at Manchester City, while Jackson is at Chelsea. Both players can operate as centre-forwards and would give Tottenham different options in attack.
