Fiorentina’s interest in Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze is beginning to make more sense as the Serie A club weighs up its options ahead of the new season, Footynaija.com reports.
According to reports from Italy, the Viola have identified the Nigerian as a realistic target, not because they are rushing into a deal, but because several factors have combined to make him an attractive option.
One of the biggest reasons is Chukwueze’s uncertain future. The 27-year-old is reportedly not expected to play a central role in AC Milan’s plans under new head coach Ruben Amorim, leaving the door open for interested clubs to make a move.

Last season, while on loan at Fulham, he scored three goals and provided four assists in 23 Premier League appearances, showing flashes of the direct running and creativity that made him one of Europe’s most exciting young wingers at Villarreal.
For Fiorentina, the move is seen as a calculated opportunity rather than a gamble.
