David Ozoh’s future at Crystal Palace remains uncertain as several clubs continue to monitor the young midfielder before the transfer window closes, Footynaija reports.
The 21-year-old, who is entering the final year of his contract at Crystal Palace, has attracted interest from newly promoted Premier League side Hull City and Championship club Derby County, according to Football Insider. French giants Marseille and German club Cologne are also said to be keeping an eye on his situation.
Ozoh has been part of Crystal Palace’s pre-season squad after the club’s UEFA Conference League-winning campaign, and reports suggest he has impressed the team’s new manager. However, Palace could still decide to sell him if they receive the right offer.
The midfielder is eager to play regular first-team football after spending the last two seasons on loan at Derby County. During that spell, he made 47 appearances in all competitions and scored three goals, gaining valuable experience.
Born in Valencia, Spain, Ozoh is eligible to represent Spain, England and Nigeria at international level. He has previously featured for England’s Under-18 team, but he has made it clear that he hopes to play for the Super Eagles in the future.
Ozoh joined Crystal Palace’s academy when he was just eight years old and worked his way through the youth ranks before making his Premier League debut against Newcastle United.
