Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has expressed satisfaction with life at Italian Serie A outfit Udinese amid ongoing speculation linking him with a potential departure this summer, Footynaija.com reports.
Okoye has been the subject of exit rumours this summer, with several reports suggesting that the Nigerian shot-stopper could be on the move this transfer window amid serious interest from 36-time Serie A winners Juventus.
Aside from the Old Lady, Inter Milan have also been touted as potential suitors as the reigning champions of Italy intend to strengthen several areas of their squad ahead of what promises to be a very challenging title defense next season.
However, Okoye, who has two years left on his current contract, appears to have poured cold water on the rampant exit talks, emphasizing that he is happy at Udinese after returning from the summer break to begin preparations for the upcoming season.

“I’m happy to be here,” Okoye said in quotes revealed by Tuttomercatoweb after unveiling Udinese’s jersey for the new season.
“We’re happy to be here with the fans, and we can’t wait to get started.”
Having enjoyed a refreshing summer break, Okoye will be looking to enter the new season in the same impressive form that saw him emerge as one of Udinese’s most important players over the course of the 25/26 campaign.
The 26-year-old registered ten clean sheets in 30 Serie A outings to help Udinese finish in the top half of the Italian top flight table for the first time in over a decade.
While an eventual summer departure for Okoye is not entirely out of the question at this stage, the Super Eagles shot-stopper’s latest comments suggest that his suitors may need to begin considering alternative options.
