Former Turkey international midfielder Zeki Onder Ozen has urged Galatasaray to unite Manchester United skipper Bruno Fernandes with Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen at Galatasaray, Footynaija.com reports.
Fernandes has arguably been the best attacking midfielder in Europe over the last couple of years, with his consistent productivity for a struggling Man United side earning him widespread praise from all across the footballing world.
Osimhen meanwhile, has established himself as one of the most prolific strikers on the continent and his performances at Galatasaray have now grabbed the attention of several top clubs, raising concerns about a potential departure from RAMS Park this summer.
Amid growing speculations, Zeki Ozen believes the reigning Super Lig champions will have a stronger chance of retaining Osimhen’s services if they can lure Fernandes away from Old Trafford when this summer window opens.

“With Osimhen there in attack, I can’t think of anything to say to Fernandes,” he said in a recent chat with VOLE. “This would also help Galatasaray in their hunt for success in the UEFA Champions League.
“In the league too, he’ll cause lots of trouble for everyone. It would deter other rivals [Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Trabzonspor] from competing for the league title.
“His addition would make Osimhen want to stay. Imagine these players competing in top form and without any injuries. However, their chances of approaching him are very slim.”

As at last summer, Manchester United appeared keen to cut ties with their mercurial Portuguese captain amid reported interest from the Saudi Pro League as well as other top teams in Europe.
However, after his season defining performances for the Red Devils this season, it is highly unlikely that they’ll be willing to sanction his departure this summer.
