Victor Osimhen is back in Nigeria nursing the broken right forearm he sustained at Anfield last Tuesday, but his mind is clearly running at full speed, Footynaija.com reports.
The arm fracture came in the 11th minute of Galatasaray’s Champions League round of 16 second leg against Liverpool, a night that ended in a 4-0 defeat and elimination.
Osimhen played on through the first half despite the injury, took a cast at the hospital afterward and flew back to Nigeria to begin his recovery.

Osimhen’s football vision
Reports confirm that the 27-year-old revealed he is in the process of purchasing Istanbulspor, a Turkish second-division club based in Istanbul that currently competes in the TFF First League.
The plan goes beyond a vanity project. Osimhen intends to establish a Nigerian branch of the club that would be registered to play in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), creating a direct pathway for young players from the grassroots in Nigeria to be discovered, developed and eventually moved through to the Turkish operation.
It is a vision that reflects everything Osimhen has said about wanting to give back to Nigerian football. He has spoken repeatedly about his own difficult journey as a teenager, the years of going without, chasing boots at Super Eagles camp and leaving home at 16 to chase a career in Europe.
