Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen notched a stunning brace against Sivasspor on Saturday afternoon to add the Sivas based club to his most scored-against opponents in the Turkish Super Lig, Footynaija.com reports.
Osimhen continued his prolific form in the Super Lig, netting twice to help Galatasaray to a commanding 4-1 victory over Sivasspor at RAMS Park and take his tally for the season to 33 goals in 37 appearances across all competitions.
The 26-year-old grabbed his first in the 15th minute, pouncing from close range to give Galatasaray the lead. He doubled his tally in the 31st minute, timing his run perfectly to meet a beautifully delivered cross from Roland Sallai following a set-piece situation.

The goals not only helped to seal three points for the league leaders but also held personal significance for Osimhen. The brace brought his total against Sivasspor to three goals, having previously scored against them from the penalty spot during their December 2024 encounter at the BG Group 4 Eylül Stadyumu.
Sivasspor now join the ranks of Osimhen’s favourite Super Lig opponents, becoming his second-most scored-against team since arriving in Turkey. Only Antalyaspor and Kasimpasa, both of whom have conceded four goals each to the Nigerian, have suffered more. Samsunspor, like Sivasspor, have also conceded three.
More importantly, Osimhen’s two goals saw him surpass his previous best of 31 goals, achieved during Napoli’s 2022/23 Scudetto-winning season. His form has been central to Galatasaray’s title charge, and with four matches left to play, the Lions are now within reach of a 25th Super Lig crown.
