Belgian giants Anderlecht are getting ready to make a €4 million offer for Nigerian winger Chidera Ejuke as they look to strengthen their attack before the new season, Footynaija reports.
The Super Eagles star has found life difficult at Sevilla since joining the Spanish club. Over the last two seasons, the 28-year-old struggled to earn a regular place in the starting team and mostly played as a backup option. With just one year left on his contract, Sevilla are now willing to sell him instead of risking losing him for free next summer. The club also wants to reduce its wage bill as it rebuilds the squad.
Signs of an exit are already clear. Although Ejuke still trains with the first team, Sevilla have left him out of their pre-season friendly matches while they work on finding him a new club.

Anderlecht are interested in Ejuke and believe he could quickly improve their attack because he already knows the Belgian league. During his loan spell at Royal Antwerp in the 2023/24 season, he scored five goals and provided six assists in 39 appearances. His pace, dribbling and ability to play on either wing also make him an attractive option.
Several clubs, including Bayer Leverkusen, Fulham, Sunderland and Leeds United, have shown interest in the past. Teams from Major League Soccer and the Gulf region have also made enquiries. However, Anderlecht are now in the strongest position to complete the transfer if talks with Sevilla progress as expected.
