Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye could be on his way out of Udinese this summer as growing interest from Italian Serie A giants Juventus continues to gather momentum, Footynaija.com reports.
Okoye re-established himself as Udinese’s first-choice goalkeeper last season after returning from suspension, reclaiming the starting role and delivering a series of impressive performances between the sticks for the Friuli-based club.
His return to prominence came at the expense of Romanian goalkeeper Razvan Sava, who had deputised during the Nigerian’s absence. Sava’s limited opportunities reportedly contributed to his decision to leave Udinese this summer and complete a move back to Romania with Craiova.
While Udinese are already dealing with changes in their goalkeeping department, they could soon face an even bigger challenge if interest in Okoye translates into a formal offer.

According to reports from Italy, Juventus have identified the 25-year-old as one of the goalkeepers under consideration ahead of the new campaign. The Bianconeri are believed to have shifted their attention to alternative targets after encountering difficulties in their pursuit of Argentine international Emiliano Martinez.
Okoye’s athletic attributes and shot-stopping ability have reportedly made him an attractive option for the Turin giants, who are seeking reinforcement in the position.
The Nigerian’s potential departure would leave Udinese searching for a new first-choice goalkeeper, with Bologna goalkeeper Federico Ravaglia said to be among the names being monitored by the club.
For now, Okoye remains an Udinese player, but with Juventus circling and the transfer activities for the summer only beginning to gather pace, the Super Eagles star could soon find himself at the center of one of Serie A’s most intriguing summer moves.
