Getafe president Angel Torres has revealed that the La Liga side are open to sanctioning the sale of Super Eagles attacking midfielder Christantus Uche this summer amid interest from clubs in the English and Spanish top flights, Footynaija.com reports.
Uche spent the entirety of last season on loan in the Premier League with London based club Crystal Palace but the former AD Ceuta star struggled to make any sort meaningful impact for the reigning UEFA Europa Conference League champions.
The 23-year-old made 14 appearances but failed to start a single match in the English top flight. His best moments for the Eagles came in the league phase of the Conference League, where he produced his only goal contributions in a Palace shirt.

Following an underwhelming spell in South East London that resulted in Crystal Palace opting not to trigger the buy-option clause in his loan deal, Uche is due to officially return to Getafe at the end of June.
Speaking about the Nigeria international recently, Torres revealed that while Getafe were willing to welcome him back into the fold, the club would be willing to sanction his departure once more if the right offer came along.

“Uche has a contract with Palace until the 30th, so we can’t do anything. He doesn’t mind coming back, and the coach wants him. If there’s an offer and we agree on it, we’ll sell him,” president Torres said.
Clubs like Real Betis and Everton have reportedly expressed interest in acquiring the services of the versatile midfielder in recent months. However, neither side is yet to approach Getafe with a formal offer.
Also, Uche’s great working history with current head coach Jose Bordalas could prove pivotal in determining his future. The Spanish tactician greatly admires the Super Eagles star and would likely be relishing the opportunity to work with him again next season.
