Former Besiktas midfielder, Sinan Engin, who earlier this season described Osimhen as a player whose genetics transcend the human norm, has turned on the Nigerian following a damaging 4-1 defeat to Samsunspor, Footynaija.com reports.
Osimhen had started the game well enough, teeing up Yunus Akgun for the opener in the eighth minute. But Samsunspor hit back through Marius Mouandilmadji twice in the first half, and Cherif Ndiaye added a third shortly after the restart.
Around the 63rd minute, Osimhen chested a long ball and attempted a routine backpass to goalkeeper Günay Güvenç, but the pass was so poorly weighted that Güvenç was forced to handle the ball outside his penalty area.

The red card that followed reduced Galatasaray to ten men and effectively ended the contest. Ndiaye added a fourth to complete the rout.
Osimhen’s reaction to the situation, arguing with the referee and visibly clashing with teammates, drew as much attention as the error itself.
‘What kind of complacency is that?’
Speaking on Beyaz Futbol, as confirmed by Pulse Sports, Engin did not hold back.
“Osimhen is not bigger than Galatasaray. He played brilliantly during his loan spell, and I admired him. But now he’s arguing with the referee and his teammates,” he said.
He pointed directly at the backpass as evidence of a player no longer fully switched on.
“He’s playing incredibly carelessly. How can he pass to the centre-back? What kind of complacency is that, my friend?” Engin added.
The Super Eagles star has contributed a goal or assist in each of his last eleven Super Lig appearances, and his 20 goals across all competitions this season for the Turkish club.
