Al Hilal are considering a move for Victor Osimhen as they look to make room for the Nigeria striker by moving on from Karim Benzema, Footynaija reports.
The Saudi Pro League club are reportedly interested in the Galatasaray forward and could make an approach before the summer transfer window closes.
Osimhen has built a strong record since joining Galatasaray, scoring 59 goals and providing 16 assists in 74 appearances in all competitions. His form has made him one of the most wanted strikers in the transfer market.
According to Sky Sport Switzerland, Al Hilal have identified the 27-year-old as a possible replacement for Benzema, who joined the Saudi club after a successful career with Real Madrid.
Galatasaray are believed to have placed a not-for-sale tag in Osimhen but the recent claims say the club would be willing to listen to offers for Osimhen and have placed a €65m (£56m) price tag on him, which is about ₦102bn.
But Al Hilal still have a major problem to solve. Osimhen must first agree to move to Saudi Arabia.
The Nigerian striker has attracted interest from clubs in Europe and elsewhere, meaning Al Hilal could face competition if he decides to leave Turkey.
Signing Osimhen would allow the Saudi club to bring in a younger striker with a strong scoring record. His departure would bring a huge transfer fee for Galatasaray, but also leave them needing to find a replacement.
Osimhen will now have to decide where he wants to continue his career as the new season approaches.
