Nigeria forward Akor Adams has dismissed speculation linking him with a move to the Premier League, insisting his full attention remains on helping Sevilla avoid relegation from La Liga, Footynaija reports.
The 26-year-old striker has been repeatedly connected with a possible exit from Spain ahead of the summer transfer window after a difficult campaign for Sevilla. The former Europa League champions currently sit just one point above the relegation zone with only four league matches left to play.
Adams arrived in Seville in January 2025 after impressing in France with Montpellier HSC, but injuries disrupted his first few months at the club and slowed his progress in Spain.
This season, however, the former Flying Eagles forward has shown signs of recovery and development. He scored against Barcelona earlier in the campaign, earned his senior debut for Nigeria and played a role in the Super Eagles’ bronze medal finish at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations under coach Eric Chelle.

Despite renewed interest from clubs outside Spain, Adams says transfer speculation is the last thing on his mind as Sevilla continue their fight for survival.
“No, no, I have not paid attention to anything. I do not focus on those things because they do not matter right now,” Adams told Footy Africa.
“I am only looking forward to finishing the season strongly with my club. My teammates and I are fully focused on the team at the moment.
“The goal now is to keep the club in the league and hopefully finish the season in double digits in terms of goals. That is the focus for now. I do not pay attention to the news because my concentration is on ending the season well.”
Sevilla’s struggles this season have already led to managerial changes. Former coach Matias Almeyda departed after a poor run of results and was replaced by Luis Garcia, who has recently preferred Gerard Romero and Neal Maupay in attack.
Even so, Adams remains determined to finish the campaign strongly and help Sevilla preserve their top-flight status.
