Interest from Germany’s top flight is intensifying around teenage winger Zadok Yohanna, with Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig all closely monitoring his development at AIK, Footynaija reports.
The 18-year-old, who operates mainly from the right wing, has emerged as one of the most talked-about young players in Scandinavia after a sharp rise in form at the start of the 2026 campaign. His recent output, four goals and three assists in a handful of appearances, has showcased his attacking threat and accelerated scouting activity from across Europe, with Bundesliga clubs leading the chase.
Sources in Germany indicate that Dortmund are particularly keen, viewing Yohanna as a natural fit for their long-standing model of recruiting and developing elite young talent. However, they are unlikely to have a clear run at the player.
Both Leverkusen and Leipzig, clubs with similarly strong records of nurturing prospects, are understood to be tracking him closely and could move as early as this summer.
Despite the growing attention, AIK remain in a strong negotiating position. Yohanna is under contract until 2029, and while early market estimates placed his value modestly, his rapid progress means any transfer fee is expected to rise significantly if formal offers arrive.
Born in Bauchi, Nigeria, Yohanna’s journey has been swift. Less than a year after leaving a local academy setup, he has become a regular starter in Sweden and a target for some of Germany’s biggest clubs.
Known for his pace, direct dribbling and confidence in one-on-one situations, he fits the profile of the modern wide forward, capable of stretching defences and deciding matches in moments.
With Bundesliga interest gathering pace, the coming months could prove decisive in shaping the next step of a career that is developing at remarkable speed.
