Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has a major concern ahead of Friday night’s crucial Super Lig showdown against Bodrum FK – the potential suspension of star striker Victor Osimhen, Footynaija.com reports.
Osimhen, the league’s top scorer with 21 goals in 24 appearances, is walking a disciplinary tightrope.
The Nigerian forward is one of four Galatasaray players just one yellow card away from suspension, alongside Barış Alper Yılmaz, Davinson Sanchez, and Gabriel Sara. Any of them picking up a booking at RAMS Park would miss next week’s tough fixture against Eyüpspor.

For Buruk, Osimhen’s availability is paramount.
The former Napoli striker has been Galatasaray’s standout performer this season, scoring eight opening goals and driving the club’s push for the title. His presence has been central to the team’s dominance, with Galatasaray sitting three points clear of rivals Fenerbahçe at the summit.
Galatasaray return to RAMS Park having beaten Samsunspor 2-0 last time out, and they remain unbeaten at home in the league this season, with 11 wins and three draws from 14 matches. Their last home defeat in the Süper Lig came back in August 2024.
Bodrum FK, currently 14th with 34 points, are only three points clear of the relegation zone. They arrive in Istanbul off the back of a 0-0 draw with Antalyaspor and are unbeaten in four away league matches.
George Puscas, who has netted eight times this season, leads the line for the visitors. But it was Michy Batshuayi who secured a 1-0 win for Galatasaray in the reverse fixture back in November.
With the title race heating up and potential suspensions looming, all eyes will be on Osimhen – Galatasaray’s irreplaceable talisman.
