Millwall winger Femi Azeez has set his sights on delivering more goals, assists and memorable performances for the Super Eagles after making an impressive start to his international career, Footynaija.com reports.
Azeez made his debut for Nigeria at the end of May, starting in the 2026 Unity Cup semi-final against Zimbabwe and announcing himself to the Super Eagles faithful by netting the all-important brace that secured a place in the final.
The 24-year-old endeared himself to Nigerian fans with his creativity and attacking threat and he is eager to build on that momentum after enjoying a successful introduction to life under Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle.

“Very happy, you know. Obviously, it’s a new position, number 10, and I think I really enjoyed it,” he told Flashscore in a recent interview.
“It’s a great team, great management, and a great manager, so I think it’s gone well.
“I was really happy when I got the call from the manager. I was honoured and very proud.
On what should be expected from him, Azeez added: “Hopefully, more of the same – goals, assists, creating chances, being exciting for the fans and, most importantly, hard work.”

After impressing at the Unity Cup, Eric Chelle sought to include Azeez in the squad for this month’s friendly encounters against Poland and Portugal but his EFL Championship based club opted to block his involvement.
The winger is currently linked with a potential move to the Premier League with Aston Villa reportedly interested in securing his signature ahead of next season.
