Former Galatasaray defender Przemyslaw Frankowski has described Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen as one of the best forwards in world football after spending last season alongside the Nigerian at the RAMS Park, Footynaija.com reports.
Frankowski joined Galatasaray on loan from RC Lens in the 2025 winter window, sealed a permanent move to RAMS Park later that summer before moving to French club Rennes on loan for the 2025/2026 campaign.
During his brief stint with the Super Lig giants, the Polish defender made 15 appearances across games in the league and Turkish Cup as the Lions cruised to a first domestic double in six years.

That season, Osimhen, also on loan from Napoli at the time, enjoyed the most prolific campaign of his career as he registered 44 goal contributions (37G, 7A) in 41 appearances to spearhead Galatasaray’s charge to glory.
While recalling the club’s success in that particular campaign, Frankowski reserved special praise for Osimhen, whom he believes ranks among football’s elite striking talents.
“Victor Osimhen, a world-class centre forward, he is perhaps one of the best five forwards in the world,” the 31-year-old said, per Fanatik.
The Polish defender also revealed that beyond Osimhen’s natural goalscoring ability, it was the Nigerian’s professionalism and mentality that impressed him the most during their time together.
“It really amazes me how well he is always prepared for the games and his endless ambition for scoring goals. I can talk about each of them [Galatasaray players] for hours.”
Frankowski’s glowing assessment follows another outstanding campaign from Osimhen, who contributed 22 goals and six assists as Okan Buruk’s side successfully retained the Turkish Super Lig title.
Having previously starred in Belgium, France and Italy before making his mark in Turkey, Osimhen has established himself as one of the game’s most complete center forwards.
