Super Eagles attacking midfielder Christantus Uche is reportedly on the radar of Italian Serie A outfit AC Milan ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window, Footynaija.com understands.
Uche is expected to return to Getafe at the end of June after Crystal Palace decided against making his stay at Selhurst Park permanent. The Nigerian arrived in England with high expectations but struggled to establish himself as a regular under Oliver Glasner.
Despite his difficulties in the Premier League, the 23-year-old remains a highly-rated prospect across Europe and recent reports suggest AC Milan continue to admire the versatile attacker after previously considering a move for him before his switch to Palace.

Interest from England has also not disappeared. Premier League side Everton are reportedly monitoring developments surrounding Uche’s future as they assess potential attacking reinforcements ahead of the new season.
There is also growing attention from within Spain, with Real Betis reportedly among the clubs keeping an eye on the Nigerian’s situation. However, Getafe could be reluctant to strengthen a domestic rival should formal interest materialise in the coming weeks.
A summer departure is increasingly viewed as a realistic possibility. Getafe are understood to be open to offers for the Nigeria international, while Uche himself is believed to be keen on a fresh challenge after an underwhelming campaign in England.

Although his time at Palace ultimately failed to meet expectations, Uche showed flashes of his quality during the early stages of the season, particularly in the UEFA Europa Conference League where he bagged two goals including a stunning trivela strike against Finnish side KuPS Kuopio.
However, opportunities became increasingly limited as the season progressed. Uche went on to make just 14 appearances across all competitions, registering a single assist before falling out of contention towards the end of the campaign.
