Sevilla striker Akor Adams has revealed that intensity, aggression and control are the three key components that drives the Super Eagles’ playing philosophy under the tutelage of current head coach Eric Chelle, Footynaija.com reports.

The Super Eagles have adopted an enterprising and entertaining brand of football since the Franco-Malian coach’s appointment last year, with recent performances, especially at the 2025 AFCON and 2026 Unity Cup earning widespread praise.

Adams’ has established himself as a key player under Chelle’s regime and he’ll be looking to play a prominent role for Nigeria over the next couple of weeks. Ahead of the Poland clash, he insists that the team will maintain their identity while going all out for a positive result.

“We’ve tried since the head coach came to build an identity around our strength. We play with a lot of intensity,” the Sevilla striker told Ubuntu Pitch.

“We try to be as aggressive as possible and also we try to play with the ball. Take chances when we have them. Like every other game, we are going to play the same way, keep our DNA and try to get a good result.”

With barely four days between the upcoming clash and last weekend’s Unity Cup triumph, the Super Eagles have had a limited amount of time to work as a group. Nevertheless, Adams believes the boys are ready to perform.

“We have had a very short time to train and to prepare for the game. Like always, I think we are ready,” he said.

“We know why we are here. It’s a very good opponent and many of us have had many games in our legs through the season. So, we are ready and we will see what happens tomorrow.”

With both Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman absent for this encounter, the responsibility of leading the Super Eagles’ front line at the National Stadium in Warsaw could fall on Adams’ shoulders.
