Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in Nigerian teenager Zadok Yohanna is gathering pace after the club sent scouts to watch the AIK winger in action, Footynaija reports.
According to reports in Swedish media, Tottenham officials were present for AIK’s recent 2-1 defeat to Degerfors IF, where Yohanna started on the right flank and completed the full 90 minutes. It was another opportunity for Spurs to closely assess the 18-year-old, who has enjoyed a sharp rise since breaking into AIK’s first team.
Yohanna, who joined the Swedish side last summer, has already made a strong impression this season, contributing four goals and three assists in his first nine appearances. His pace, direct running and fearless style have quickly drawn attention, with Tottenham now firmly among a growing list of interested clubs.

Despite the mounting speculation, the player himself appears unfazed.
Speaking after the match about scouts in the stadium to watch him play, Yohanna said: No, I don’t know. I didn’t know there were scouts here. I’m just focusing on my game. My focus is completely on AIK.”
When asked about his longer-term ambitions, he added: “Of course I have a dream.”

Tottenham’s interest, however, is far from exclusive. German sides Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen are all monitoring his progress, while Premier League rivals Chelsea and Dutch giants Ajax have also been linked.
AIK are under no immediate pressure to sell, but with interest intensifying and valuations rising, a summer move is becoming an increasingly realistic possibility.
