Former Nigeria international Dimeji Lawal believes Galatasaray hitman Victor Osimhen will have little problems adjusting to life in the Spanish top flight if he joins Real Madrid or Barcelona, Footynaija.com reports.

It is no secret that Osimhen is one of the most sought-after striking talents in Europe courtesy of his continuously outstanding performances for reigning Turkish champions Galatasaray since his move to Istanbul two summers ago.

Top clubs across Europe’s biggest leagues are reportedly monitoring the Super Eagles striker’s situation at RAMS Park, with both Real Madrid and Barcelona touted to be his most active pursuers ahead of the transfer window.

While there may be doubts in some quarters as to whether Osimhen will be able to replicate his goal scoring exploits at a club of Madrid or Barca’s stature, Lawal insists the masked hitman will be a guaranteed hit in Spain.

“I really don’t think Osimhen will have any issue when it comes to fitting into Real Madrid or Barcelona,” the former Real Madrid midfielder told Complete Sport.

Osimhen has already shown that he’s a proven goal scorer and can perform at the highest level. I am very certain that he will be grabbing the goal headlines with ease if he joins either of the two clubs because they have quality players who will supply him with those passes for him to score.

“For me, it will be an easy ride for Osimhen if he decides to join Real Madrid or Barca this summer.”

Despite all the speculations surrounding Osimhen’s future ahead of the summer transfer, Galatasaray seem pretty confident of retaining the services of their talismanic striker beyond the current season.

If the Nigeria international does end up on the move though, the Lions of Istanbul will certainly demand a transfer fee north of €100 million to sanction his departure.
