Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen strongly believes Paris Saint-Germain’s Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is currently one of the best wingers in the world, Footynaija.com reports.
Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia have a shared history from their time together at Napoli, where they formed an alarmingly lethal attacking chemistry that fired the Partenopei to a first Scudetto triumph in over three decades back in the 22/23 season.
Both players have since gone on to flourish away from the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, with Kvaratskhelia taking his game to the next level under the tutelage of Luis Enrique at PSG while Osimhen has achieved legendary status at Galatasaray and the Turkish Super Lig.
Despite now plying their trades in different parts of Europe, Osimhen revealed in a recent appearance on the 360 Experience with Onah Kosi that he still stays in touch with Kvaratskhelia while reflecting on their time together in Naples.

“He’s such an amazing player, he’s a top guy,” Osimhen said.
“I mean, in the dressing room and on the pitch, he’s that guy. He’s an amazing person and when he came to Naples, I used to say, ‘Inshallah, in the near future, he can win the Ballon d’Or.’ He can really do that.
“Even after he moved to Paris, we’ve stayed in touch. We keep reaching out to each other, and I’ve always congratulated him on his achievements, and he does the same for me.
“I mean, he’s that guy. He’s one of the best wingers in the world right now, no one can argue that and I wish him all the very best.”

Kvaratskhelia’s world-class talent was recently on full display earlier this week as Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich played out a thrilling nine-goal all time classic in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final tie.
