Victor Osimhen could be on the way out of Galatasaray in the summer with Europe’s biggest clubs yet circling around the Super Eagles forward, Footynaija reports.
Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have jumped to the top of the queue of clubs looking to steal the Nigeria international away from Istanbul, according to FootMercato.
At Bayern Munich, planning rarely stops at the present. Although Harry Kane continues to deliver goals with trademark efficiency, the German champions are already mapping out life beyond their 32-year-old talisman. Osimhen, 27 and entering what many consider a striker’s prime years, has emerged as a serious candidate.
Head coach Vincent Kompany is understood to admire the forward’s development since his early days in Belgium. Osimhen’s profile is clear: explosive pace, aggressive pressing, physical dominance and a penalty-box instinct that unsettles defenders. For a Bayern side that thrives on vertical transitions and relentless attacking pressure, those qualities carry obvious appeal.
His numbers in Turkey only strengthen that case. After a stunning debut campaign that yielded 37 goals in 41 appearances, he has continued to lead from the front this season, producing 17 goals and six assists in 25 matches across competitions. In Europe, his finishing has been particularly decisive, helping Galatasaray reach the Champions League knockout phase for the first time in 12 years.
Such performances explain why Bayern are prepared to test Galatasaray’s resolve, despite the Turkish champions securing Osimhen on a long-term contract until 2029 following a €75 million permanent deal.

The situation in Paris, however, appears markedly different. At Paris Saint-Germain, enthusiasm for Osimhen has cooled.
Sporting director Luis Campos knows Osimhen well from their time together in Lille, yet financial calculations have reportedly proven decisive. A potential transfer fee exceeding €100 million, coupled with salary demands said to approach €20 million net per season, represent a significant outlay even for a club of PSG’s resources.
There are also tactical considerations. Head coach Luis Enrique is not believed to be fully convinced that Osimhen fits seamlessly into his preferred structure, which often prioritises fluid positional rotations over a fixed central reference point.
Several other clubs, including Juventus and Barcelona, are also monitoring the situation around the Super Eagles vice-captain.
While Osimhen has repeatedly maintained that he is happy at Galatasaray, another move to one of the continent’s wealthiest clubs could unfold in the summer.
