Chiamaka Nnadozie delivered a masterclass performance to help Paris FC Féminines win the Coupe de France for the first time in the club’s history, after a tense penalty shootout victory against Paris Saint-Germain, Footynaija.com reports.

The final, played on Saturday 3 May 2025 at the Stade de l’Épopée in Calais, ended 0–0 in regular time before Paris FC triumphed 5–4 in the shootout.

The Super Falcons goalkeeper made two big saves during the shootout. She denied American midfielder Korbin Albert and French defender Jade Le Guilly, cementing her place as the match-winner. Her efforts were decisive in Paris FC lifting the trophy.

This title is not only Nnadozie’s first with the French side, but also the club’s first Coupe de France win since they rebranded to Paris FC. They last won the title in 2005 under the name FCF Juvisy.

For Nnadozie, who joined the club from Rivers Angels in 2020, the victory is a major milestone in her European career.

Throughout the 2024–25 season, Nnadozie has been one of the standout players in the French league. She kept 12 clean sheets in all competitions, including important matches that helped Paris FC secure a place in next season’s UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Nnadozie’s consistency, sharp reflexes and calm presence have made her one of the most respected goalkeepers in European women’s football.

In May 2024, she won the Best Goalkeeper award in the French Women’s Division One Féminine league, and she’s an important player not just for Paris FC, but also for the Super Falcons.
