Cyriel Dessers equalled his personal goal-scoring record in a single season as Rangers played out a 2-2 draw with Hibernian at Easter Road in their final Scottish Premiership match of the campaign, Footynaija.com reports.
The Nigerian striker opened the scoring just two minutes in, capitalising on a poor clearance from Hibs goalkeeper Jordan Smith. Nicolas Raskin headed the ball into Dessers’ path, and the 30-year-old made no mistake with a sharp turn and finish.
Goal Dessers! Hibs 0:1 Rangers. Maybe shud have been chopped off by VAR as Dessers looked to be encroaching inside the penalty box when the goal kick was taken… Great touch, swivel, & volley finish nonetheless from Dessers – poor from Jordan Smith but top-quality finish Dessers pic.twitter.com/M9wSiPi5Xe

The goal was Dessers’ 29th in all competitions this season — matching his career-best tally set with Dutch side NAC Breda in the 2016–17 season.
Kieron Bowie brought Hibs level before the break, but Raskin again played a key role just after the restart, flicking in a near-post header from a corner to restore Rangers’ lead.
However, Martin Boyle’s 66th-minute header ensured a share of the spoils.
Dessers finishes the league campaign as the Scottish Premiership’s top scorer with 18 goals, edging out Daizen Maeda and Simon Murray in the race for the Golden Boot.
