Veteran Turkish journalist Sansal Buyuka has praised Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen’s impact at Galatasaray since arriving on loan from Napoli, Footynaija.com reports.
Osimhen has taken the Super Lig by storm since swapping Naples for Istanbul last summer. The Nigerian hitman is firing on all cylinders as Gala look to mount a successful title defense despite intense pressure from Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce.
In 21 Super Lig appearances, Osimhen has notched an impressive 17 goal tally and contributed four assists. His overall stats for the season stand at 23 goals and 5 assists in 29 appearances across all competitions.

Hugely impressed by Osimhen’s positive impact for the Super Lig champions this season, Buyuka believes the Nigeria international has been the difference maker in Galatasaray’s title charge.
The 78-year-old has also urged the Super Lig giants to do everything within their means to secure the 25-year-old striker’s signature on a permanent basis amid rival interest from the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Juventus.
“Osimhen is the one who made the difference in the championship race between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe. He is playing incredibly, Buyuka said as per quotes from habersarikirmizi.com.
“How can a loaned player fight with such sincerity like a 40-year Galatasaray supporter? It is amazing. Galatasaray continues to make the difference with Davinson Sanchez at the back and Osimhen at the front.
“I hear that Manchester United and Arsenal are interested in Osimhen. If I were Galatasaray, if they can keep him, which they may do, I would give up on the transfer and spend all my energy on Osimhen. The guy is making the opponent miserable.”
Osimhen’s immediate focus

Osimhen’s future will spark intense debate this summer, but for now, he is focused on helping Gala defend their Super Lig crown and leading Nigeria back into World Cup contention. He has been named in Eric Chelle’s 23-man squad to face Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
