Juventus have reportedly set their sights on signing Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen this summer, as the Serie A giants prepare to part ways with Dusan Vlahovic, Soccernet.football reports.

According to Tutto Napoli, Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli—who originally brought Osimhen to Napoli in 2020—is eager to reunite with the Super Eagles forward.

However, the move hinges on Vlahovic’s departure, as the club would need to raise funds to meet Napoli’s valuation.

Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray, has been in superb form, netting 17 goals and six assists in 21 appearances for the Turkish giants. Galatasaray made a €65 million bid earlier this week to sign him permanently, but Napoli swiftly rejected the offer. With Osimhen likely to leave in the summer, Juventus are expected to rival top Premier League clubs such as Chelsea and Manchester United in the race for his signature.

Juventus are planning a significant reshuffle in attack, with Vlahovic’s future in Turin increasingly uncertain. The 24-year-old Serbian striker, who commands the highest salary in Serie A, has struggled to agree a contract extension, with his current deal expiring in 2026. With the club unwilling to meet his wage demands, Vlahovic is expected to be sold within the next six months to avoid losing him for free.

One possible scenario being explored is a swap deal with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), with Randal Kolo Muani or Gonçalo Ramos potentially heading to Turin in exchange for Vlahovic. However, Barcelona have also expressed interest in the Serbian forward, adding further intrigue to the situation.

Juventus’ pursuit of Osimhen will not be straightforward. The 26-year-old striker has a €75 million release clause, but it is only valid for non-Italian clubs, meaning Juventus would have to negotiate directly with Napoli.

Given the historic tensions between the two clubs—most notably over Gonzalo Higuaín’s controversial transfer in 2016—reaching an agreement could prove difficult.

Osimhen, who holds the record as the first and only African to win the Serie A topscorer award, has never hidden his desire to one day play in the English Premier League.
