The Premier League, the world’s most valuable football league, received a major market value update this week, with 115 players seeing changes in their valuations, Soccernet.football reports.

The league’s overall value increased by €167 million, pushing its total worth to €11.72 billion, according to Transfermarkt.

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland and Chelsea’s rising star Cole Palmer were among the biggest winners in this latest review.

Aston Villa’s dynamic substitute Jhon Durán also saw his value soar, while Ipswich Town, newly promoted to the top flight, saw the largest club-wide increase.

On the other hand, Arsenal experienced the most significant drop, with several key players downgraded.

Erling Haaland’s meteoric rise continued, as the Norwegian striker’s value jumped by €20 million, making him the world’s most valuable player at €200 million.

This upgrade places him ahead of stars like Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé, who are both valued at €180 million.

Haaland has scored an incredible 10 goals in six Premier League games this season, reinforcing his status as the league’s standout player. Since joining Manchester City in 2022, Haaland has racked up 100 goals in just 106 appearances.

Chelsea’s Cole Palmer also enjoyed a significant rise in his market value.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder saw his worth increase by €10 million to €90 million, making him the most valuable player at Chelsea and the seventh-most valuable player in the Premier League.

Palmer’s sharp performances, including a four-goal haul in Chelsea’s recent 4-2 victory over Brighton, have highlighted his growing influence at Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa’s Jhon Durán, known for his impact off the bench, saw his value increase by €15 million to €35 million after scoring four goals in six appearances this season. Durán now ranks as one of the top young forwards in the Premier League.

However, it wasn’t all good news across the league.

Arsenal saw a decrease in squad value, with both Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus suffering €10 million downgrades.

Martinelli’s value now stands at €60 million, while Jesus is valued at €55 million, reflecting their struggles to secure regular starting spots under Mikel Arteta.
