UEFA has released the latest club rankings as of 12 July 2024, Soccernet.football reports.

These rankings are based on the performance of clubs in the past five seasons of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Europa Conference League. The rankings help determine how teams are seeded in UEFA competition draws.

Premier League champions and Pep Guardiola’s army, Manchester City are ranked as the top club in Europe. This comes after their victory in the 2023 Champions League.

Real Madrid, who are the current European champions, are in second place. Bayern Munich, despite losing their Bundesliga title, hold the third spot. Liverpool are in fourth place, making them the second Premier League team in the top five. The Italian Serie A team AS Roma, after winning the Europa League last year, are ranked fifth.

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are in sixth place, followed by Villarreal, Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea, and Inter Milan, completing the top ten.

Bayer Leverkusen, who won the Bundesliga for the first time and reached the Europa League final, are in 11th place. They are ahead of FC Porto in 12th, RB Leipzig in 13th, Manchester United in 14th, and Benfica in 15th place.
