Ghanaian playmaker Mohammed Kudus knew he was ready to play at the highest level when he decided to switch to the Premier League last year, Soccernet.football reports.

Now, as the curtains draw close on his maiden campaign with West Ham United, Kudus reflects with pride on his journey from Ajax to the heart of English football.

During the 2023/24 season, few stories shine as brightly as that of this Ghanaian marvel.

With his electrifying displays, Kudus has set the Premier League alight while also propelling the Hammers to a deep run in the UEFA Europa League before they were eliminated by Bundesliga winners Bayer Leverkusen.

A revelation at just 23, Kudus embodies a blend of power, finesse, creativity, and technical mastery while adding quality in the final third, as evident with an impressive tally of 13 goals and five assists across all competitions.

Yet, his hunger for excellence remains insatiable, as he wants more ahead of the last few games this term and a new challenge next season.

In an exclusive interview with whufc.com, Kudus said, “I’ve enjoyed it [first season in England]. Everyone around [the Club] has helped me settle well, so it has been a nice experience. I’ve been here almost a full season now, but I still have a lot more to show and I believe this is just the beginning.

“I followed my gut and dream to move here and believed I was ready. When I decided to make this move to the best league in the world, I knew I was ready to take that step and I wanted to test myself.

“There have been ups and downs throughout the season, but I know there are more ways to improve my game. I’ve definitely announced myself here, and I am happy that it has gone in that direction for the first season.

“We can only look forward at what is ahead of us. Last season compared to this season there is improvement in our position [in the table], so we just need to aim to finish as high as we can with good performances in the last two games and then see what happens next season.”

West Ham will look to get back to winning ways when they trade tackles with relegation-threatened Luton Town this weekend after suffering an embarrassing 5-0 defeat to Chelsea last time out.

I don’t think the title of your article matches the content lol. Just kidding, mainly because I had some doubts after reading the article.
