Real Madrid are reportedly unwilling to entertain loan offers for their young Brazilian striker Endrick in January, with sources also suggesting the player has no intention of leaving the club, Soccernet.football reports.

The 18-year-old joined Real Madrid in the summer, finalizing his eagerly anticipated transfer to the legendary Spanish giants. Due to his young age, Endrick was always expected to take on a supporting role within a star-studded attack that includes Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior, Jude Bellingham, and Rodrygo.

Quite understandably, the Brazilian has struggled for playing time under Carlo Ancelotti since his summer arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu, making just ten appearances across all competitions and accumulating only 122 minutes on the pitch.

Recent reports indicated that Premier League strugglers Southampton had expressed interest in securing Endrick on loan during the winter transfer window. However, Fabrizio Romano has dismissed the possibility of the 18-year-old moving to St Mary’s.

Endrick is said to be satisfied with continuing his development at Madrid, with club officials also convinced that staying at the Santiago Bernabéu is in his best interests.

Fellow summer signing Mbappe has been given significant game time despite his early challenges settling in at the Spanish capital. The Frenchman has netted eight goals in 16 games, but questions remain about his on-field chemistry with Vinícius in the season’s opening months.

While Los Blancos boss Ancelotti has been tipped to adjust his tactics to address his side’s stuttering start to the season, providing adequate minutes to an unproven youngster in one of Europe’s most competitive forward lines remains a massive ask, regardless of any changes in formation.
