Inter Milan are reportedly considering a move for Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye as they assess their options between the posts ahead of the January transfer window, Footynaija.com understands.
The Nerazzurri have been linked with the Udinese shot-stopper amid concerns over Josep Martinez’s performances, with the Spanish goalkeeper yet to provide the level of assurance the Italian giants want.
According to Italian reports, Inter are monitoring the 27-year-old Nigerian as a possible option for their goalkeeping department. However, any potential deal could prove expensive, with Udinese reportedly valuing Okoye at around €20 million.
Inter’s reported consideration of Okoye comes as questions emerge over Martinez’s position following a series of unconvincing performances. The Nerazzurri are understood to be assessing their options before deciding whether to make changes to their goalkeeping department.

Okoye joined Udinese from Watford in 2023 and has continued his career in Serie A, where his performances have attracted attention from other clubs. A potential switch to Inter would represent a significant step up for the Nigeria international if the reported interest eventually leads to a concrete approach.
Udinese, meanwhile, appear to have made provisions for the possibility of losing their goalkeeper. Reports indicate that Polish shot-stopper Bartosz Mrozek, who joined from Lech Poznan last summer, could be considered as a replacement should Okoye leave.
For now, the situation remains at the level of reported interest, with no official offer on the table. The reopening of the transfer window in January could provide a clearer picture of Inter’s plans and whether they are prepared to meet Udinese’s valuation for the Super Eagles goalkeeper.
