Trabzonspor’s latest attacking arrival Aral Simsir has sent a bold message to Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu ahead of the upcoming Turkish Super Lig season, Footynaija.com reports.
Simir arrived at Papara Park from the Danish Super League following the Black Sea Storm’s 15 million euros agreement with FC Midtjylland. The 24-year-old put pen to paper on a four-year deal, tying him to the Istanbul based club until the summer of 2030.
A graduate of Trabzonspor’s youth setup, Simsir landed in Trabzon on Tuesday amid plenty of fanfare and the Turkish forward could barely hide his excitement after returning to the club where he spent his formative years.

“I’m very happy to be in Trabzon,” he said, per quotes on 61 saat.
“I know very well that Trabzonspor is a very big club. It has a very large fan base. I didn’t have much difficulty making the decision. I played here in the youth academy 4 years ago, and now I’m here. It’s God’s will…”
Simsir makes Paul Onuachu promise
While Simsir spoke glowingly about his return to Trabzonspor, he also had a special message for Onuachu, revealing that one of his main objectives is to help the towering Nigerian find the back of the net as often as possible next season.

“My goal is to represent Trabzonspor in the best way possible. My first priority is to score goals and provide assists. There are many high-quality players, a fantastic level of quality. I will do everything I can to help Onuachu score goals. I already knew him beforehand. May God bless the fans. I will give everything for them.”
Simsir’s comments will come as welcome news for Onuachu, who will be looking to build on last season’s achievements with Trabzonspor. The Nigeria international notched 22 goals to win the Super Lig top scorer award and also fired the Black Sea Storm to Turkish Cup glory.
