The 21-year-old, who earned recognition with a place in Nigeria’s squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, enhanced his reputation during a season-long loan spell at Pisa. Despite the club’s relegation, Akinsanmiro emerged as one of their most dependable performers, showing maturity beyond his years in midfield.
Comfortable in both defensive and central midfield roles, the former Remo Stars player featured in 24 league matches and contributed an assist while gaining valuable top-flight experience.
