Super Eagles goalkeeper Adebayo Adeleye has completed a permanent return to Enosis Neon Paralimniou FC, signing a two-year deal with the Cypriot club ahead of the new season, Footynaija.com reports.

The 25-year-old shot stopper is rejoining familiar surroundings after Enosis moved to reinforce their goalkeeping options following promotion ambitions and squad adjustments this summer. The agreement marks a return to Cyprus for the Nigerian international, who spent the latter part of last season in Greece.

Adeleye previously featured for the Paralimni-based side during the 2024-25 campaign, where he established himself as a regular presence between the posts. During that spell, the Warri born goalkeeper made around 30 league appearances, featuring as the club managed a demanding domestic schedule.

After the conclusion of that season, the former B-United Football Academy graduate moved on, joining Greek Super League outfit Volos on a short term arrangement. His time in Greece was brief, lasting just over half a season, but it added top flight experience to a career that has already included spells in Israel and Cyprus

With limited continuity at Volos and changes behind the scenes, Adeleye became open to a return elsewhere. As revealed in a report by Sports247, Enosis decided to bring him back, securing his signature on a deal that runs until 2028.

Often referred to by supporters as Super Eagles ‘Onana’ due to his appearance, Adeleye has been clear in previous interviews about focusing on his own path. His club form in Cyprus has played a role in keeping him within the national team picture.
