Nigeria international Moses Simon has addressed mounting speculation over a potential summer switch to the Premier League, with Everton reportedly among the clubs tracking the FC Nantes winger, footynaija.com reports.

Simon, who turns 30 in July, has spent six years at Nantes after joining on loan in 2019.

The Super Eagles star has since become a vital figure at the Ligue 1 side, racking up 201 appearances and contributing 37 goals.

Despite a turbulent domestic campaign, the former Gent and Levante star was a standout performer, tallying eight goals and 10 assists across all competitions.

With his contract running until June 2026, reports in France and England have linked him with a move away, with clubs in Spain and Germany also said to be circling.

Speaking to SportsBoom, Simon responded to the rumours and expressed his desire to play at a higher level — but only if the conditions are right.

“Yes, I’ve heard about the interest, and I know my agent is in contact with some clubs. Right now, I’m still a Nantes player,” said Simon.

“I’ve always given my best for this club, and I respect my contract. But of course, every player wants to play at the highest level.

“The Premier League is one of the best in the world. If the right offer comes, and it’s good for me and my family, then why not? But I’m not desperate. I have peace here in France. It has to be the right project.”
