Kelechi Iheanacho has praised Bursaspor’s passionate supporters after making an impressive start to life in Turkey, with the Super Eagles striker believing their backing can make the club difficult to beat, Footynaija.com reports.
Iheanacho joined Bursaspor this summer and has wasted little time in repaying the faith shown in him after scoring twice and providing an assist in his first couple of appearances for the Turkish outfit.
The Nigerian has also been impressed by the atmosphere surrounding the club, with Bursaspor boasting one of the biggest fanbases in Turkish football.
Iheanacho believes the support from the stands could prove crucial as Bursaspor look to enjoy a successful campaign.

“It’s fantastic to play in front of one of the biggest fan groups in Türkiye,” Iheanacho said, as quoted by Fotomac.
“As long as we have their support behind us, we won’t easily lose matches in Bursa.”

The former Leicester City and Manchester City forward has quickly embraced the expectations that come with representing Bursaspor, with his early contributions offering supporters plenty of reason for optimism.
His two goals and assist have also provided an encouraging start to his latest chapter after the 29-year-old opted for a new challenge in Turkey.
With Iheanacho already finding his rhythm in front of Bursaspor’s passionate supporters, the Nigerian will now hope to maintain his impressive form and help the club achieve its ambitions this season.
For the Super Eagles striker, the message to his new supporters is already clear: with their backing behind the team, Bursaspor will not be an easy side to beat at home.
