Victor Osimhen, Kelechi Iheanacho and Ademola Lookman all found the net as Nigerian stars enjoyed a strong Saturday across Europe and Turkey, Footynaija reports.
Osimhen scored and assisted as Galatasaray came from behind to beat Göztepe 3-2 at RAMS Park in the Süper Lig.
Göztepe took a surprise lead through Novatus Miroshi in the 16th minute. Davinson Sánchez levelled for the Turkish champions eight minutes after the half-hour mark.
Galatasaray completed the comeback early in the second half. Osimhen set up Gabriel Sara with an audacious assist to make it 2-1 in the 55th minute before he scored from the penalty spot eight minutes later.

Göztepe pulled one back through substitute Juan Santos in the 65th minute, but Galatasaray held on for the win. Osimhen also had a headed goal harshly ruled out by VAR.
The result sent Okan Buruk’s side to the top of the league. Osimhen now has five goals and two assists in three league games this season.
Iheanacho also produced a goal and an assist as Bursaspor beat Kayserispor 2-1 away in the Turkish second tier.
Kayserispor went ahead through Florent Hasani’s 31st-minute penalty after a VAR review.
Iheanacho levelled from the penalty spot in the 58th minute. He then set up Alperen Babacan for the winning goal in the 77th minute before leaving the field in the 87th minute.
The Nigeria international now has four goals and two assists in four league appearances since joining Bursaspor from Celtic in July.
Lookman completed the Nigerian goalscorers in action on Saturday. He scored in Atlético Madrid’s 3-1 win away to Sevilla.
Álex Baena gave Atlético an early lead in the fourth minute. Lookman doubled the advantage in the 26th minute when he cut inside from the left and fired past the goalkeeper.
Baena added his second before half-time to put Atlético 3-0 ahead. Sevilla scored through Miguel Sierra in the 66th minute, but Diego Simeone’s side controlled the game to take all three points.
Lookman played 66 minutes before he was replaced.
