Victor Osimhen stands on the verge of winning the sixth major trophy of his career as Galatasaray prepare for a potentially decisive night in the Turkish Süper Lig title race against Antalyaspor, Footynaija reports.
The Super Eagles striker has been central to Galatasaray’s charge towards another domestic crown and could add a second successive Turkish league title to a growing list of honours that already includes the Serie A title with Napoli, the FIFA U-17 World Cup with Nigeria and the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations.
Galatasaray head into Saturday’s match at RAMS Park with a four-point lead over rivals Fenerbahçe and know that victory would secure a 26th league title in the club’s history.
Osimhen arrives at the crucial fixture in outstanding form. The former Lille forward has produced either a goal or an assist in each of his last 11 league appearances, to emphasise his importance to Okan Buruk’s side during the closing weeks of the campaign.
Tonight, Victor Osimhen would win his 2nd league title in Turkey with a Galatasaray win.

The 27-year-old already helped Galatasaray win a domestic double during his loan spell last season and is now close to adding another significant honour to his collection.
With so much at stake, Galatasaray’s hierarchy are reportedly ready to reward the players handsomely if they get the job done against Antalyaspor.
According to Turkish outlet Fanatik, club president Dursun Özbek and senior officials have approved a €5 million bonus package for the squad if the title is sealed in Istanbul. The amount is estimated to be worth around N8 billion in Nigerian currency.
Buruk is also expected to hand the squad a short holiday of four or five days should Galatasaray confirm the championship in front of their supporters at RAMS Park.
The planned break carries extra significance because the manager previously cancelled an earlier holiday following the team’s surprise defeat away to Samsunspor, a result that briefly reopened the title race.
Supporters are already preparing for another famous night in Istanbul, with Galatasaray known for staging huge yellow-and-red celebrations whenever league titles are secured.
