Ebenezer Akinsanmiro could be one of the Nigerians attracting serious attention in the summer after his agent confirmed that several clubs are already monitoring his situation, Footynaija reports.
The 21-year-old midfielder spent the 2025-26 season on loan at Pisa Sporting Club from Inter Milan and emerged as one of the few bright spots in a difficult campaign that ended with Pisa’s relegation from Serie A.
Although Pisa have activated their €7 million option to make the move permanent, Inter are expected to trigger an €8 million buy-back clause that would immediately return the Nigerian to San Siro. The situation has now created uncertainty over where Akinsanmiro will play next season.
The midfielder made 22 appearances during the campaign and impressed with his calmness in possession, tactical discipline and defensive work rate despite Pisa’s struggles near the bottom of the table.
One of his standout displays came against AC Milan in a 2-2 draw when he produced a superb long pass from midfield to set up M’Bala Nzola. He also earned praise for strong performances against ACF Fiorentina as he continued to grow in confidence in the Italian top flight.

Akinsanmiro’s agent, Crescenzo Cecere, believes the loan spell at Pisa has helped the former Remo Stars player mature quickly.
“He made an excellent step with Pisa. The club’s season was negative, but from a personal standpoint, the boy can be satisfied,” Cecere said.
The agent also admitted that interest in the Nigerian is increasing ahead of the transfer window, with several clubs waiting to see what Inter decide.
“There are many interested teams, and we’ll evaluate them in due time. There’s no shortage of requests,” he added.
Inter reportedly still consider Akinsanmiro part of their long-term plans and could offer him a new deal running until 2030. However, with competition for places expected to remain intense under Cristian Chivu, another Serie A loan move has not been ruled out.
