The Super Eagles of Nigeria have capped off an impressive 2026 Unity Cup campaign by cruising to a comfortable 3-0 victory over the Reggae Boyz of Jamaica in the final, Footynaija.com reports.
Both teams entered the encounter full of confidence after convincingly seeing off their respective semi-final opponents. Nigeria won 2-0 against Zimbabwe while Jamaica beat India by the same scoreline to also reach the final.
However, it was the Super Eagles that took the initiative with Alhassan Yusuf netting a brace either side of Terem Moffi’s header to continue their historic dominance over the Reggae Boyz in the tournament.

Eric Chelle’s men needed only four minutes to break the deadlock, with Yusuf quickest to react after Jamaica goalkeeper Coniah Boyce-Clarke could only parry a near-post flick-on from a long throw delivered from the left flank.
Nigeria doubled their advantage after the interval with Azeez, the standout performer on the night, playing a major role. The winger skipped past his marker down the left, reached the byline, and delivered a teasing cross that Moffi powered home from close range.
Jamaica were denied a penalty when Arthur Okonkwo collided with Kaheim Dixon as the forward pounced on a loose ball following a moment of uncertainty in Nigeria’s defence, but the Reggae Boyz could not make their pressure count.
The Super Eagles eventually put the game beyond doubt in stoppage time, with Yusuf finding the net late in second half stoppage time to seal Nigeria’s fourth Unity Cup title.
