Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has revealed that Galatasaray will approach the second leg of their UEFA Champions League tie against Juventus with the same hunger and desire they showed in the first leg, Footynaija.com reports.
Galatasaray delivered a huge performance in front of their supporters at RAMS Park on Tuesday as they blew away their Italian visitors to cruise to a well deserved 5-2 victory that has now put them in pole position to progress into the Round of 16.

Osimhen played a key role in Galatasaray’s triumph, providing two crucial assists to set up Noa Lang and Sacha Boey for those all important fourth and fifth goals with the Lions now holding a big advantage heading into the second leg.
Despite their great position in the tie, Osimhen, who could barely hide his delight after the game, is also fully aware that there’ll be no room for complacency when Galatasaray rock up to the Allianz Stadium for the return leg.
What Victor Osimhen said

“I’m very happy with the performance we showed as a team,” he said in quotes revealed by Brand Icon.
“Our coach’s plan worked and we will approach the second leg the same way. It won’t be an easy match, but we have the advantage. It was a very important victory. Thank you to our fans.
“I’m proud of my team. Everyone was great. Without the support of our fans, this wouldn’t have been possible.”
Notably, Osimhen failed to score in consecutive games for Galatasaray after firing a blank against Juventus. However, the Super Eagles striker has registered four assists within the same timeframe and appears to be enjoying his newfound role in the team.

“Pressing is normal for me. I just try to fight for the team and so far, so good. With my pressing, I’ve been able to get some assists, which I think is very good. Above all, I am happy about the win.”
Galatasaray will face Konyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig this weekend before travelling down to Italy for their crucially important Champions League decider against Juventus.
