Nigeria delivered a commanding performance to sweep Mozambique aside 4-0 and book a place in the AFCON 2025 quarter finals, Footynaija.com reports.
The Super Eagles were sharp from the first whistle, ruthless in front of goal, and solid at the back, with the front three leading the way.
Here is how the Nigerian players rated, based strictly on their performances on the night.

Stanley Nwabali 7.
Had very little to do, but stayed alert throughout. Dealt calmly with the few crosses and long balls Mozambique managed. A quiet night, but a professional one.
Bright Osayi Samuel 8.0
Outstanding energy down the right. His overlaps stretched Mozambique constantly and his crossing caused problems all game. Nearly got on the scoresheet late on and capped a strong all round display.
Semi Ajayi 7.0
Solid and composed at centre back. Won his duels, cleared his lines, and never looked rushed. Read danger early and helped Nigeria control the game defensively.
Calvin Bassey 7.7
Aggressive and physical, sometimes on the edge. Picked up a late yellow card but largely kept Mozambique quiet. Strong in the air and committed throughout.
Bruno Onyemaechi 7.2
Kept things simple at left back. Focused on his defensive duties and supported attacks often.
Frank Onyeka 7.0
Covered ground relentlessly. Broke up play, pressed hard, and linked midfield to attack well. His work rate set the tone early on.
Wilfred Ndidi 7.4
Controlled the centre of the pitch. Timed his tackles well and recycled possession efficiently. His presence allowed Nigeria to dominate midfield.
Alex Iwobi 8.0
Kept the ball moving and supported attacks intelligently. Made a couple of excellent through passes leading to goals. His role tonight kept Nigeria fluid and balanced.
Ademola Lookman 9.3
Man of the match. Opened the scoring with a fine finish and added two assists. His movement, decision making, and final ball tore Mozambique apart. A complete attacking performance.
Victor Osimhen 8.9
Back to his best. Scored twice, bullied defenders, and led the line with authority. His movement inside the box was good, and he could easily have had more. This was the Osimhen Nigeria needed.
Akor Adams 9.1
Capped a brilliant display with a well taken goal. Assisted Lookman for the opener and also Osimhen’s goal. He pressed tirelessly, and linked play smoothly. His confidence and awareness stood out.
